
Pen Turning for Beginners Course
Pen turning is an excellent hobby and a great first project for beginner woodturners. Once mastered, it is quick and simple to do and easy to replicate time and time again.
With this online course our expert woodturner, Jason Breach, will teach you how to turn your first pen from start to finish, focusing on techniques for turning and finishing different pen blank materials.
This course uses pen kits and pen turning accessories from Axminster Tools, which can be purchased separately here.

This course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of how to turn a pen, from introducing you to the pen kits and blanks, to guiding you through the turning process step-by-step and the final assembly. Meet the Tutor
Jason Breach
Jason has more than 38 years' experience as a woodturner.
He was introduced to the lathe at the age of 12 and soon discovered box turning, which later became one of his signature pieces, earning him critical acclaim the world over.
Jason pursued woodworking as a career, gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Furniture Design & Management.
He worked for a number of years making furniture and bespoke kitchens, allowing him to develop and hone his skills, before becoming a woodworking tutor at Axminster Tools.
Jason continues to travel the world demonstrating and tutoring woodturning to students of all abilities.
